In 2006 we founded DDMP Investment Advisors to live out our commitment to setting the new standard of service that business owners and employees should expect from their financial advisors. We pioneered the service model we call the Partnered Approach, which helps ensure you get the benefit of dual insights into building strong retirement outcomes for your specific goals, needs and risk tolerance. Today, we bring over 86 years of combined industry experience to inform and empower you to make financial choices you can feel good about.
Our process keeps the focus on you: we start by evaluating your unique needs, and then perform a detailed analysis of your current retirement plan structure. Based on our findings, we explain the plans and investments which match your goals and values. Together we craft a strategy to help you get on target for retirement and plan what you would like to offer your employees. Through our sophisticated retirement plan process and our partnerships with multiple qualified retirement fund benefits providers, we deliver highly personalized attention without including proprietary products or agendas.

We know explaining qualified retirement plans is not a business leader’s top concern, but it’s a critical element that is important to your employees and is also stringently monitored by the Department of Labor. Let us provide both you and your employees confidence in their retirement plans by managing the education and enrollment into a 401(k) or 403(b) plan. With our Partnered Approach, we meld process-driven services with a commitment to personal interactions, responsiveness and collaboration. The approach is three-fold: As a business owner, you will be partnered with two DDMP Partners who specialize in qualified retirement plans. These Partners work as an equal team to provide combined expertise with a singular focus on delivering targeted solutions and specific recommendations based on your particular business circumstances. Your DDMP Partners are dedicated to helping ensure every legal requirement is met, limiting your fiduciary responsibility as the business owner.

However, they also help ensure that you are given the tools, benchmarks, resources and objective perspectives you need to feel satisfied that the investment plan you choose is the right fit for your business, your values, and your financial future. They will also provide critical information you need to make appropriate decisions for your employer-sponsored or qualified retirement plans, such as the effect of investment performance versus your employees’ asset allocation and rate of salary deferral.
The second element to the Partnered Approach is in our commitment to your employees. As financial advisors we are empowered to accept fiduciary responsibility and are glad to provide comprehensive education for your employees on the advantages of participation, contribution levels, contribution type, and investment selections. It also ensures our objectivity: we will not recommend a product, service, or plan provider that does not directly match your goals and values.
IMPACT
One of the chief benefits of offering qualified retirement plans to your employees is the knowledge that you are helping your employees feel more confident in working towards their retirement. In recent years, employees have increasingly turned to their employer sponsored plans to not only benefit from tax advantages, but also as a means to invest their money
in their future. This could cause employers to feel a burden towards selecting a partner in this process who focuses on the hottest new investment options over valuing other long-term indicators of quality. However, “performance chasing” might not yield the results business leaders are hoping for. In fact, we believe investment performance alone does not sufficiently impact retirement balances over long-term periods, which means it is not a good indicator of participants’ retirement preparedness.
